Moyo Joins Nkana From Chippa United

Former FC Platinum and Chippa United Centre back Kevin Moyo has found a new home in Zambia after joining Nkana F. C as a free agent for an undisclosed period.

The 27-year-old right-back was unveiled by Nkana FC on Sunday via their social media platform alongside another Zimbabwe international and former Harare City defender Gilroy Chimwemwe (28) who was signed after a season with Zambian outfit Buildcon FC.

Moyo parted ways with Chippa United in September last year along with his twin brother Elvis Moyo after a fall out with the troubled South African side.

Moyo was a regular in the starting XI at Chippa United where he made 30 appearances, mostly at centre-back, in all competitions during his season with the club.

Nkana is one of Zambia’s most successful clubs having won 13 league titles, and second overall with 44 trophies, 5 behind Mufulira Wanderers.

They are currently 16th on the Zambian top flight league table with 14points from 12 games.

The duo joined another two Zimbabweans at Nkana FC in defender Jimmy Dzingai and goalkeeper Talbert Shumba.
