BONNE BACK ON THE SCORES FOR QPR

Zimbabwe international Macauley Bonne scored his first league goal since November 2020 as he sealed a 0-2 win for QPR away to Luton Town on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old forward scored in the 89th minutes after coming on in the 59th minutes as a substitute to double the scores for QPR as they register first win after ten matches.

The goal comes as a breath of fresh air for Bonne who is currently struggling with his scoring form, having only scored three league goals in twenty appearances and has only managed six starts for Rangers so far this season.

He began his QPR career on a positive start after scoring on his debut, but has since faltered having last scored a league goal for QPR in November 2020.

He had gone thirteen league games without finding the net.

The former Leyton Orient hot shot was signed from Charlton Athletic, where he played 40 times during the 2019-20 Championship season, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists with the Addicks ultimately relegated to League One after finishing the season in the drop zone.

Bonne dedicated his goal against Luton last night to his late sister.

Queens Park Rangers are now on 18th position on the log with 24 points from 23 games.
