KHAMA BILLIAT OUT FOR TWO MONTHS
Struggling Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs have been dealt a huge blow with the announcement of Zimbabwe star player Khama Billiat’s injury.
The 30-year-old former Mamelodi Sundowns will be out for at least two months after suffering a cracked leg bone in the team’s 2-0 loss to Maritzburg United over the weekend, the club confirmed.
The Zimbabwe international’s injury comes as a huge blow for Amakhosi who are currently in need of a play-maker to steer them out of the drop zone and lead their group stages campaign in the CAF Champions league.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently 14th position on the log with seven points from nine games.
Billiat who joined Chiefs in July 2018 from Masandawana, scored nine goals in all competitions in his first season with the Amakhosi before scoring only three goals last season.
He has so far scored a goal plus two assists in nine appearances this season.
