MUSKWE IMPRESSIVE ON HIS WYCOMBE WANDERERS DEBUT
Zimbabwe Warriors forward Admiral Muskwe was a revelation to most Wanderers fans after making an eye-catching debut in the team’s 4-1 win over Preston North End to advance to the next round of the FA cup.
The 22-year-old who joined the Chairboys on loan from Leicester City this week, set up Fred Onyedinma for the opening goal before Joe Jacobson, Josh Knight and Alex Samuel added to the scores to win 4-1 and proceed to the fourth round.
Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth was delighted with debutant Admiral Muskwe’s performance.
“I thought he had a really assured performance today, his energy levels were brilliant,” said Ainsworth
“He could have scored, I think he’s disappointed he hasn’t scored, but he’s assisted one, been a constant threat and been superb,” he said.
Muskwe was later substituted in the 76th minutes for Alex Samuel.
Wanderers will be hoping to take this form to the Championship when they visit Macauley Bonne’s Queens Park Rangers on the 16th of January.
