Mushekwi Extends Lead In The Chinese League One Golden Boot Race

Zimbabwe Warriors veteran striker Nyasha Mushekwi was on target once again as his side Yunnan Yukun beat Nanjing City 0-2 in the Chinese league one encounter on Saturday.

The 36-year-old former Zhejiang marksman who will turn 37 years of age in August opened the scores in the first two minutes of the game to put Yukun ahead before Moroccan international Zakaria Labyad’s second goal in the 10th minute to seal the 0-2 win.

It is Mushekwi’s 14th goal of the season in 17 appearances so far, extending his lead on top of the Chinese league one top scorer charts with five goals.

Yunnan Yukun are on top of the log after 13 wins three draws and only one loss in the Chinese league one so far this season.
