Munashe Garananga Makes Instant Impact For Dynamo Brest
Former Ubuntu Cape Town Academy player and Zimbabwe U20/U23 defender Munashe Garananga has hit the ground running in Europe after scoring another goal for Belarusian premier league side, Dynamo Brest in their pre-season match on Friday.
The 21-year-old who signed a two year contract with Brest last weekend after impressing in a week long trial period, banged his third goal for the club after opening the scores in their 3-1 win against Dynamo Malorita on Friday.
Garananga who can play as a center-back is also capable of operating as a wing-back and it is in the latter position that he has impressed at Brest.
The former Prince Edward Boys High star has now scored three goals in six matches that he has played in so far and will be hoping to quickly establish himself as a regular in the coming season
The Dynamo Brest are frequent participants in the European competitions and would be a good spring-board for Garananga who dreams to play in one of the top five leagues in Europe
Brest will begin the season in the first week of March 2022 with an FA cup quarter final game against Vietbsk.
