Hadebe To Undergo Scan On Injury Picked Up Against Seattle Sounders

Zimbabwe Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe will undergo a scan on Monday to determine the extent of the injury he sustained in Huston Dynamo’s 2-1 Win over Seattle Sounders on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old centre-back is a major doubt for Huston Dynamo’s midweek encounter against LA Galaxy on Wednesday after being forced out in the 54th minutes due to an apparent injury.

Hadebe started the match well and had already completed 28 touches with a 95% pass accuracy rate and four clearances as Huston Dynamo surged ahead by two goals to one against log leaders Seattle Sounders on Saturday.

The match, however ended 2-1 with Hadebe being replaced by Maynor Figueroa to see the match through.

The Zimbabwean has been rock solid for Huston Dynamo ever since he joined the Major League side in June 2021 from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor, making a total of 73 clearances and a whooping 97 recoveries in 17 league matches.

It would be a huge blow for Tab Ramos if he is to lose Hadebe for the game against LA Galaxy on Wednesday as they fight to keep their play off opportunities going.
