The Warriors Arrived In Ghana In Dribs & Drabs

Zimbabwe Warriors arrived in Accra in separate groups ahead of the Group G World Cup qualifier against Ghana on Saturday.

The main group of Warriors which included two locally based players Rahman Kutsanzira, Kelvin Madzongwe both of FC Platinum, Zambia based Thabani Kamusoko, South African based players and the entire technical team joined the first batch of captain Knowledge Musona, Tanzania based duo of Never Tigere and Bruce Kangwa who arrived earlier in Ghana.

UK-based Marvelous Nakamba, Brandon Galloway, Tendayi Darikwa and Jordan Zemura also arrived to link up with the rest of the squad.

The team is expected to depart for Cape Coast today soon after the arrival of United States based defender Teenage Hadebe who is scheduled to arrive today.

They will conduct their first training session as a unit later on in the evening at the match venue.

Zimbabwe Warriors will play Ghana on Saturday 9 October at Cape Coast Stadium before hosting the Black Stars in Harare on the 12th of October.
