Lunga Named MOTM In His Second Start For Mamelodi Sundowns

Zimbabwe international and former Golden Arrows defender Divine Lunga is quickly solidifying his place in Mamelodi Sundowns’ first eleven after another impressive show in his second start for the team.

The 26-year-old left-back who scored in his first start for Mamelodi Sundowns in the team’s 3-0 win over Golden Arrows on Saturday in the MTN8 quarter final match, was voted man of the match after a solid show in the team’s 3-0 win at home to Moroka Swallows on Sunday.

The win sees Masandawana extend their lead on top of the log table with 16 points from six games- four points ahead of second placed Supersport United.

Lunga was a surprise omission in Norman Mapeza’s Warriors squad to face Ghana next week in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers opting for veteran defender Onismor Bhasera and Tanzania based Bruce Kangwa in that position.
