Pitso’s Al Ahly Fall To Bayern Munich In The Fifa Club World Cup
Pitso Mosimane suffered his first defeat as Al Ahly head coach after losing 0-2 to Bayern Munich in the semi finals of the Fifa Club World Cup on Monday night.
Robert Lewandowski struck twice in each half to dent Al Ahly’s hopes of reaching the Fifa Club World Cup final for the first time in their history.
It was former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane’s first defeat as Al Ahly head coach since his appointment last year in September.
Bayern Munich will play against CONCACAF champions UANL Tigres in the final.
Al Ahly now prepare to meet Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras in the fight for a bronze medal on Thursday.
The Egyptians have previously finished third in this tournament when they settled for bronze in 2006.
