Moffat Shines For Malaga City

Former Zimbabwe Under 23 midfield king pin Abubakar Moffat scored a last minute equaliser for Malaga City F. C as they drew 1-1 away to Torrox in a league match on Thursday night.

The 23-year-old former Aces Academy graduate brought Malaga City to life in the second half, driving home a much needed equaliser in the dying minutes of the game to force 1-all draw away to Torrox and mantain their unbeaten run in the league.

The Zimbabwean midfielder has been pivotal for Malaga City so far this season scoring three goals and providing eight assists in nine appearances.

The team which competes in the Premera Andaluza division, which is the 5th tier in the Spanish football league pyramid, are currently on top of the log with 27pts from 14 games played so far.

Malaga City are also home to other two Zimbabwe Internationals in midfielder Kundai Mukweva and forward Nicky Guyo.
