Rinomhota Excited To Score On His 100th Appearance For Reading

Zimbabwe Warriors hopeful Andy Rinomhota ‘couldn’t have hoped for a better scenario’ after scoring on his 100th appearance for Reading in the team’s 3-0 Win Over Coventry City on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old England born Zimbabwean scored in the 46th minutes to double the scores for Reading in their 3-0 victory over Coventry City.

Rinomhota who made his senior debut for Reading against Gillingham in August 2017, admitted he was buzzing that he scored and got the win on his 100th appearance for the club.

“I couldn’t have hoped for a better scenario, to come out with a goal and three points,” said Rinomhota speaking to Reading.com

“It has gone quite quickly over the last three years I have been playing, but I am really enjoying my time here and hopefully they are many more games to come,” he said.

The versatile midfielder has made a remarkable rise at Reading having joined the club Academy in 2015. He featured for the Under 18s and Under 21 before laying down a marker in the 2016/17 campaign with 39 appearances for the Under 23s.

He was given a place in Royals’ 2017 pre-season squad to the Netherlands before making his senior debut in a Carabao Cup win against Gillingham that August.

Rinomhota is still interested in representing Zimbabwe Warriors at international level and is currently in touch with the national technical team and could make himself available in future international matches.
