CHIKWENDE FINALLY COMPLETES MOVE TO SIMBA SC

Former FC Platinum star forward Perfect Chikwende has finally completed his move to Tanzania giants Simba SC on a permanent deal estimated around US$50 000,

Simba SC announced the arrival of their target man on Friday night via their social media pages.

Chikwende arrived in Tanzania on Friday to complete his approximately U$50 000 permanent move to Simba SC

The 27-year-old former Bulawayo Chiefs forward is expected to join the rest of the team in Zanzibar where they are currently taking part in the Mapinduzi Cup.

It has been almost a month since Chikwende’s name began making headlines across the continent after his eye-catching performances in the CAF Champions league where he scored 2 Goals for FC Platinum in the preliminary round.

He was on target again when his solo goal gave FC Platinum an advantage in the first leg of the CAF Champions league second round against Simba winning 1-0 at the National sports stadium before they were knocked out of the tournament on aggregate after losing 4-0 in the second leg.

Chikwende was also heavily linked to Simba SC rivals Azam who are home to Zimbabwean trio of Bruce Kangwa, Never Tigere and Prince Dube

However, Chikwende chose his own path and joined Simba who are currently 2nd on the Tanzania Premiership log table with 35 points from 15 games, and a three game in hand behind log leaders Young Africans on 44 points.
