Fabisch’s Brace Provides Humburger SV II Victory
Kenyan-born Zimbabwe international midfielder, Jonah Fabisch scored a brace in the first half of the match to secure the points for Humburger SV in their 2-0 win against Bremen on Sunday.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder put the ball in the back of the net successively in the 7th and 9th minutes respectively as Humburger SV II kept on to win 2-0 and earn the points to take their tally to 61 points in 29 games, level with log leaders who also share the same points with the same number of games.
The German-based youngster has now scored ten goals from the midfield in 27 appearances for Humburger SV II in the Regionalliga North.
Fabisch who began his youth career at Humburger SV academy in 2012 and made his debut in the reserve team in 2020, has played for DFB’s under-17 and under-19 in 2018 and 2019.
He made his senior international debut with the Zimbabwe Warriors in November 2021 in a 1-1 draw World cup qualifyer against Ethiopia.
