Muskwe Returns After A Month Long Injury
Zimbabwe Warriors forward Admiral Muskwe notched his first Championship league minutes for Luton Town on Saturday as he returned from a month long injury in a 2-0 win away to Millwall.
The 23-year-old former Leicester City academy player was introduced in the 79th minutes for Elijah Adebayo to mark his return from an injury that kept him out for a month on the sidelines, missing all Zimbabwe Warriors’ crucial World cup qualifiers played in September and October.
Muskwe who joined Luton Town in July after a successful loan spell in the Championship league with Wycombe Wanderers has featured prominently at the beginning of the campaign managing five games and looked fairly sharp despite being yet to score a goal for the English Championship league side, before the injury.
He last featured for Luton Town back in August against Sheffield United.
The England-born Zimbabwe forward had already showed signs of full fitness prior to his first league match from an injury after warming up with a goal in the Development side’s 1-all draw against Bournemouth in the mid week encounter.
His return is also good timing with Zimbabwe Warriors who will begin their preparations for the Africa cup of nations finals next year in Cameroon with the remaining world cup qualifying matches against Ethiopia and South Africa in November.
Luton Town has now leapfrogged Bristol City to position 10th on the log with 17 points from 12 games.
