Hadebe Delivers Commanding Performance For Huston

Zimbabwe Warriors star defender Teenage Hadebe was unfortunate not to have come out on the winning side after delivering a stunning performance in Huston Dynamo’s 0-0 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday night.

The 27-year-old lanky defender was at his best and it was clear how much getting a win meant for him after providing the team with three scoring opportunities from the back, but unfortunately didn’t pay out.

Besides helping in attack the inform defender was also outstanding in defence, always in the right place at the right time to snuff out every Vancouver Whitecaps attack.

From the 90 minutes he played, Hadebe made a massive 104 touches on the ball with a 91% pass accuracy rate. He also made six successful long balls from ten attempts and won eight out of ten duels he was involved in.

The result still leaves Huston Dynamo in a precarious position with 27 points from 28 games, just three places above bottom placed FC Cincinnati who have 20 points from 26 games.

Hadebe’s current form is good news for the Warriors ahead of a must win FIFA world cup qualifiers back-to-back tie against Ghana on the 9th and 12th of October respectively.
