Divine Lunga On The Verge Of Sundowns Move
Zimbabwe Warriors left-back Divine Lunga is close to joining Mamelodi Sundowns according to media in South Africa.
Negotiations between the player and the club are practically complete, really just pending the ratification of the deal for the player to be officially announced at Sundowns.
The 25-year-old left-back who was on off season in Zimbabwe had to cut short his vacation to be at Chloorkop yesterday to complete a 5-year deal with the club.
His contract with Arrows expires at the end of this month.
Lunga has been on Sundowns radar since last season, but the departure of Mosimane stalled the deal to happen.
Lunga joined Arrows in 2018 from Chicken Inn and went on to make 84 appearances for Abafana Bes’thende.
He has been on target with several clubs in Europe including in Turkey, but preferred to remain in South Africa with Masandawana.
The Warriors defender is expected to fill up the left-back position as Sundowns look to strengthen their squad ahead of an eighth consecutive CAF Champions League appearance.
