Mahachi Explains Muduhwa Contract Termination At Simba SC
Peter Muduhwa’s agent Gibson Mahachi has explained the decision by his client to prematurely end his contract with the Tanzanian premier league side Simba SC, barely three months into his six months contract.
The 27-year-old center back who can also be deployed as a right-back took most football fans by surprise after agreed to prematurely end his loan deal with Simba SC without kicking a ball.
His agent Gibson Mahachi told Soca263 that the decision was influenced by lack of game time at the club.
“True we are finalising the mutual termination agreed. Everything will be completed today (Wednesday),” Mahachi said.
“This has been necessited by the fact that he was not getting game time in the Champions League,” explains Mahachi.
Muduhwa who was signed prior to the kick start of the CAF Champions league group stages, has missed in all the team’s five group matches as they booked a place in the quarter finals after topping group A with 13 points, 5 points clear second placed defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt.
“Remember his loan was due to the fact that they registered him in the Continental competition. Peter has to play to keep his position in the national team.
“So it is better he comes back and play while working on other potential moves, ” said Mahachi.
Muduhwa joined Simba SC in January from Highlanders F. C on a six month loan deal with an option to extend after Impressing in the CHAN tournament with the Zimbabwe Warriors.
However ever since the CHAN tournament Muduhwa has lost his position in the national team due to lack of game time.
