Kelvin Lunga Enjoying A Purple Patch For Oberhausen
Zimbabwe international and Rot Weib Oberhausen forward Kevin Lunga has hit good form for the Regionaliga west side after scoring in his second consecutive match on Sunday.
The 27-year-old nomadic forward has hit the ground running ever since he returned from a short term injury he suffered at the start of the season, scoring in his second match in a row as Oberhausen beat SC Preußen Münster 3-2 to go on third position on the log with 21 points from twelve matches.
Lunga has started in six of his eight appearances so far and has been in good form ever since he returned from a miniscus injury he suffered in their opening league match in July, scoring in the last two matches against Fortuna Duesseldorf II and Preuben Munster.
The Zimbabwe international has now scored two goals in six league start, helping RWO to a five game unbeaten run so far this season.
He is one of the foreign born players targeted by Zimbabwe Warriors technical team.
The former SV Rondinghausen talisman was first called for the Warriors squad in 2019 ahead of the Africa cup of nations qualifier against Congo, although he did not get the opportunity to play, the Germany born is determined to make his mark for the Warriors.
