Hadebe In Another Outstanding Show As Huston Fight For Survival
Zimbabwe Warriors center back Teenage Hadebe played a key role as Huston Dynamo walked away with three points after a 3-2 win against Texas Derby rivals FC Dallas on Sunday to register their second win in three games.
The 27-year-old star defender who was handed his usual starting position after substituted for a minor calf injury against LA Galaxy last week, had an incredible game as he rallied the defence well – registering some eye-catching numbers along the way.
Hadebe played the whole 90 minutes, completed 54 touches made an incredible six clearances, blocked two shots, one tackle, one interception and won two out of three ground duels he was involved in as Huston booked an important victory.
Following a 16 Match winless streak, Hadebe’s team seems to have turned some of their fortunes around in the fight against relegation with a win against Austin and a draw versus LA Galaxy moving them up from the bottom log.
With eight games remaining Huston who are currently 12th on the log with 26 points from 27 games, still have an uphill climb to get above the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs line in the Western Conference, but they appear to have find a winning formula of late.
They play Minnesota united in their next Major League encounter on Sunday the 26th of September .
Hadebe has started in all 13 Major League games he has played so far since joining the club from Yeni Malatyaspor.
