Simba Unveils Peter Muduhwa!
Tanzanian premier league side Simba SC have announced the signing of another Zimbabwe international and Highlanders defender Peter Muduhwa who joined the club on a six-month loan.
The 27-year-old defender becomes the second Zimbabwean to join Simba SC this month after Perfect Chikwende of FC Platinum.
Muduhwa who is estimated to get around US$8000 a month will not be able to play in the Tanzanian league following the closure of their January transfer window.
He is however eligible to play in the Simba Super Cup and the lucrative CAF Champions League mini-league, where Simba are targeting to reach the semi-finals of the competition for the first time in their history.
Muduhwa arrived in Tanzania late Tuesday night from Cameroon where he was taking part in the Africa Nations Championship with Zimbabwe Warriors who are now out of the competition.
The Bulawayo-born defender is expected to make his debut for the ambitious East African side in the Simba Super Cup which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
