A RETURN TO DJURGARDENS LOOMS AS NYASHA MUSHEKWI’S FUTURE AT DALIAN YIFANG HANGS IN BALANCE
Zimbabwe international and Dalian Yifang top goal scorer Nyasha Mushekwi could make a return to his former club, Djurgardens IF in the following weeks after the arrival of Ghanian international and former Lavante UD forward Emmanuel Boateng at the Chinese Super Legue side.
Dalian Yifang new boss, former Korean national team coach Choi Kang-Hee is currently undergoing wholesale changes at the club, with fan favourite Nyasha Mushekwi or Nicolas Gaitan tipped to move on in the coming weeks after the signing of Marek Hamsik and Emmanuel Boateng for the 2019 season.
The Chinese Super League foreign quota rule allows only 4 foreign players to be registered in a team, and an additional foreign player from Asian countries. Dalian Yifang currently have Yannick Carrasco, Nicolas Gaitan, Marek Hamsik, Emmanual Boateng and Nyasha Mushekwi all from outside Asia.
Reports coming from the Chinese media believe, the 32-year-old Zimbabwean forward could move back to Sweden after his former team Djurgardens IF expressed interest of returning their former star player at the club. The Swedish transfer window is still open until April 2019.
