Tawanda Maswanhise Nominated For Premier League 2 POTM
Leicester City rising forward Tawanda Maswanhise has been recognised for his explosive start to the season after nominated in the premier league two’s player of the month for August.
The 19-year-old England-born Zimbabwean teen has been in impressive form for the foxes development side, scoring in all four PL2 fixtures during the month.
Maswanhise has found the net in games against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers.
He has now scored in six consecutive matches for Leicester City Under-21s in all competitions so far this season.
He is nominated along eight other players for the award, with the winner to be announced via the Premier League’s website and PL Youth Twitter page.

The shortlist was selected by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opponent in each of their league matches in the month.
