Hadebe In MLS Team Of The Week 19

Zimbabwe Warriors Defender Teenage Hadebe has been included in Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of he Week 19, after an impressive show in Huston Dynamo ‘s 2-2 derby draw against rivals FC Dallas on Sunday evening

The inform 26-year-old center back made history during the encounter after scoring the latest non-penalty goal in the MLS history as Huston Dynamo draw 2-all against FC Dallas and earn the much valuable point.

Despite the goal Hadebe also contributed hugely at the back as he hardly lost possession of the ball managing 82 complete passes from 89 touches of the ball he made during the encounter.

The Zimbabwean told Huston Dynamo website after the match that he somehow knew he would score in the derby

“You know when it is a derby you don’t need to be motivated by anyone or anything,” said Hadebe in the post game interview.

“You need to motivate yourself. I always have fun before the game with my children, we played together before. I told my wife I was going to score. Every time I have the feeling that I can score I always score, I don’t know why. By the end of the season we want to be in the playoffs and I want to help the team reach that goal,” said Hadebe

It is the Warriors center back’s first inclusion in the MLS team of the week this season and his second nomination so far in his MLS career.

He becomes the seventh Houston Dynamo player on the team of the week selection this season.
