Benyu Moves To Iceland Top Tier
Zimbabwe Warriors midfieder Kundai Benyu has signed a contract with Iceland premier league side ÍBV vestmannaeyjar from second division side Vestra and will play with the team until the end of the season,the club reported.
The 24-year-old Warriors midfieder has agreed to join the Icelandic top flight league after an outstanding season with Vestra in the second division.
IBV vestmannaeyjar announced the arrival of the Zimbabwean and said the player is excited to get to the Westman Islands and start a game with the team once his papers are completed.

Benyu currently has an expired work permit and will get to work as soon as it is possible.
The box to box midfieder who can also operate as a winger played five games for the Zimbabwe national team and would be a good addition to the team.
On top of a good season with Vestra, Benyu was also one of the exceptional players for Zimbabwe Warriors at the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.
Born and bred in the UK, the midfieder started his career in the English leagues, with clubs such as Ipswich and Aderlshot Town, before moving to Scottish giants Celtic. He also played for Helsingborg in Sweden.
IBV are currently riding on a poor run lying 11th on the Iceland top tier with three points from nine games this season. Won 0 matches 3 ended in a draw. 6 were defeated.
