Garananga Bags MOTM On His First League Match For Dynamo Brest
Former Zimbabwe U23 defender Munashe Garananga continues with his fine form for Dynamo Brest after named man-of-the match in the team’s 1-all draw against Shakhtyor Soligorsk in their opening Premier League match on Saturday.
On the back of an impressive pre-season training where the former Ubuntu Cape Town Academy player scored four goals in seven matches, the 21-year-old continued the sparkling form as he stood out against Shakhtyor to help register a point in their opening league encounter.
Following the showing from the former Ubuntu Cape Town player, Brest fans have voted for him as the man-of-the-match in the encounter.
Garananga received 29,9% of the votes ahead of teammates Sergey Lynko 17,83% and Maxim Kolmakov 14,4% respectively.
The Zimbabwean defender who signed a two year contract with the Belarusian league side at the beginning of February after impressing on trials, is quickly becoming an instant hit at Dynamo Brest after he took no time to settle at the East European side.
Garananga has started in all nine pre-season matches, including two FA cup matches since his arrival at the Belarusian outfit, scoring four goals in the process and will hope to continue the impressive form as the season progresses.
