Adam Chicksen Officially Enjoying Best Season Of His Life

Zimbabwe Warriors left-back Adam Chicksen is currently having the best season of his career at Notts County, leading his team to second place on the log and a possibility of promotion to League two.

The 31-year old England born defender recently reached a huge milestone at Notts County having clocked 100 games at the club on 14 March 2023 in 3-1 win against Eastleigh since joining in 2019.

This season Chicksen has been undroppable notching 40 league games and scoring 11 goals from the wing-back position – his most prolific season ever since he began his senior career at MK Dons in 2008.

He has spent the most of his career playing in the English league one level and has also once played in the Championship league with Brighton and Hove, but this season- his third in the National League with Notts County – has been his most successful to date.

With his consistency and hard work at the back, Chicksen has helped Notts County to second spot on the log with 97 points from 40 games, three points away from table toppers Wrexham who occupy the only automatic promotion spot.

Notts County could also go up via playoffs as they occupy play-off semi-final spots alongside Chesterfield. Positions four to seven (Woking, Barnet, Southend United, and Solihull Moors) would face off in play-off quarter-finals.

Chicksen made his senior international debut with Zimbabwe Warriors against Zambia in 2018.
