Siziba Makes Yeoville Town Debut After Joining From Ipswich Town
Zimbabwe teenage midfielder Zandazenkosi Siziba featured for national league side Yeoville Town in their 0-1 loss to Bromley on Saturday to mark his debut after completing a move from Ipswich Town.
The 19-year-old England raised Siziba was introduced in the 54th minutes for Jordan Maguire-Drew as manager Mark Cooper tried to get an equaliser, but it was not to be as Bromley held on to their lead until the end.
With Bromley defeat, the Glovers have their neck out of the woods and could be relegated if they continue struggling to get positive results.
But the arrival of Siziba who began his youth career at Dagenham and Redbridge before signing for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur could change fortunes for Yeoville Town in the attacking third.
Siziba who is versatile on the wings, made a switch to Suffolk road to join Ipswich Town academy in 2019, and had already made six first team appearances for the Tractors.
He was one of the highly rated youngsters in the Tractors academy with his style of play likened to that of Bayern Munich and Senegalese attacker Sadio Mane.
Siziba , who qualifies to play international football for Zimbabwe, was handed a two-year deal with the club.
