DARIKWA HOPES FOR REISS NELSON WARRIORS TURN UP
Zimbabwe Warriors ‘Minister Of Defence’ Tendayi Darikwa Is Hoping Arsenal Winger Reiss Nelson Will Consider The Warriors Over The Three Lions At Internationals, But Said It’s A Personal Decision He Has To Make Himself.
Speaking to English podcast The Whistle, the Nottingham Forest right-back admitted Nelson would add value to the team.
“We all know how capable Reiss is and talented he is as a footballer and he can only improve our team and our country,” Darikwa said.
“We welcome Reiss to come and play for the Warriors. We’d love him to come but he needs to make the decision himself without getting pressure from people outside,” adds Darikwa.
Zimbabwe Warriors technical team are still eager to convince the 23-year-old Arsenal star who like Darikwa was born in England to a Zimbabwean father and an English mother.
