Jordan Zemura Return A Timely Boost For Bournemouth As Automatic Promotion Battle Heats Up

The presence of Zimbabwe international Jordan Zemura in Bournemouth match day squad for today’s clash against Blackburn is a welcoming sight as the fight for automatic promotion heats up and could go down to the wire as Nottingham Forest battle Bournemouth for second spot.

Bournemouth who are currently occupying the final automatic promotion place in the Championship with three points ahead of Forest, who sit in third place ahead of Huddersfield, will clash against Blackburn on Saturday before their blockbuster encounter against Forest on Tuesday.

Bournemouth are still in the driving seat, but they have struggled for a win oflate. The injury to one of their key players, Jordan Zemura, who has been sidelined by a hamstring injury since the 9th of April, could not make things better for the Cherries, having only picked up one win in their last four games which the Zimbabwean missed.

Zemura joined first team training this week and could play a role in today’s encounter against Blackburn Rovers.

His return is a timely boost as the team seek to maintain their hold on the second spot.
