Mutizwa Reached 150 Games For Arrows
Zimbabwe Warriors hitman Knox Mutizwa reached another great milestone for Lamontville Golden Arrows yesterday after making his 150th appearance for Abafana Bes’thende.
The 28-year-old former Highlanders forward who is in his sixth season at the club reached the milestone in the team’s 1-2 win away to Chippa United on Saturday after introduced in the 76th minutes for Nduduzo Sibiya.
Mutizwa made his debut for Arrows on February 8th, 2017 against Supersport United and has risen to become the club’s best all time scorer with 44 goals beating the previous record bearer Mabhuti Kanyeza with 39 goals.
In his time at the club, Mutizwa has helped the Arrows win 46 matches and draw 53, so far.
His 150 appearances include premier league matches (132 games ) and domestic cup competition (18 games).
He is currently the most capped active player at Golden Arrows and sixth on all time appearances list behind Musa Bilankulu (230), Thanduyiso Khuboni (196), Philani Shange (176), Joseph Musona (164), Mzuvukile Tom (157),
This season he has made 9 league appearances for the club scoring two goals and three assists helping Abafana Bes’thende to eighth position on the log with 18 points from 13 games.
