{"id":789,"date":"2021-01-18T14:35:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-18T14:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soca263updates.com\/?p=789"},"modified":"2021-01-19T04:01:10","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T04:01:10","slug":"warriors-shifts-focus-to-burkina-faso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/soca263updates.com\/?p=789","title":{"rendered":"Warriors Shifts Focus To Burkina Faso"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Following a 0-1 Loss To host Cameroon in the Africa Nations Championship group A opener on Saturday, Zimbabwe Warriors head coach Zdravko Logarusic was quick to shift his focus to the next game against Burkina Faso on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Warriors put on a gallant fight against Cameroon and could have came out with a draw had it not been for some few errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the Croat has told his players to forget about the loss and shift focus on their next group A encounter against Burkina Faso who are also looking for a first win after a 1-0 loss to Mali in their opening match<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe team played well, but our lack of preparation was showing. I salute the boys for their gallantry but we don\u2019t have enough time to look in the past. We need to quickly move on since this is a tournament with games coming in quick succession,\u201d said Logarusic speaking to<em><strong> The Herald<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe could have easily picked a draw but we still have our own destiny firmly in our hands.
