{"id":3409,"date":"2022-09-23T11:51:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-23T11:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soca263updates.com\/?p=3409"},"modified":"2022-09-23T11:55:05","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T11:55:05","slug":"aston-villa-secure-future-of-zimbabwe-warriors-prospect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/soca263updates.com\/?p=3409","title":{"rendered":"Aston Villa Secure Future Of Zimbabwe Warriors Prospect"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>English premier league side Aston Villa have secured the future of academy defender Thierry Katsukunya by offering the youngster his first professional contract with the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 17-year-old center-back joined Villa in November 2021 at the age of 16, from Coventry City where he had been since 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The talented defender who was born in England to a Zimbabwean father and a Welsh mother, has represented Wales at under-17s level and is also eligible for Zimbabwe Warriors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from Villa website Katsukunya&#8217;s academy manager, Mark Harrison said: \u201cWe are delighted to see Thierry sign his first professional contract. It is recognition of the potential he has displayed and his excellent attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis has also led to him being involved in our Under-21s and being selected for Wales at Under-17s level.
