{"id":1473,"date":"2021-07-15T13:10:47","date_gmt":"2021-07-15T13:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soca263updates.com\/?p=1473"},"modified":"2021-07-15T13:10:49","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T13:10:49","slug":"muskwe-joins-luton-town-on-a-permanent-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/soca263updates.com\/?p=1473","title":{"rendered":"Muskwe Joins Luton Town On A Permanent Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Zimbabwe Warriors forward Admiral Muskwe has joined English Championship side Luton Town from Leicester City on a permanent<\/strong> <strong>deal<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 22-year-old forward joined the Hatters for an undisclosed fee after impressing in the English second tier with Wycombe Wanderers last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On joining Luton Town, Muskwe said he is delighted to emulate fellow Leicester City Academy graduates Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Justin who impressed at Luton Town!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI spoke to both of them, mostly I spoke to Kiernan. I saw him a few weeks ago and he only had good things to say about the club so in the short time I have spent here, I have seen that everything he said is true and I\u2019m hoping I can create my own positive memories at this place&#8221;, said Muskwe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSeeing the success Kiernan had last year, it is something I want to try and emulate myself. The love he got from the fans is definitely something I am trying to embark on and get myself as well,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muskwe, who came through the ranks of Leicester City\u2019s Academy, scored three times in 15 appearances for Wycombe following his arrival on loan in January 2021 and also helped Swindon Town earn promotion to the League One in a 2019\/20 loan spell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The striker joined the Club\u2019s Academy at the age of nine and has represented the Foxes at Under-18s and Under-23s levels, as well as in the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a regular contributor in-front of goal for the U23\u2019s and made 85 appearances in total \u2013 scoring 29 goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luton Town were home to another Zimbabwe born and defender Brendan Galloway before he was released at the end of last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team which is nicknamed the &#8216;Hatters&#8217; finished 12th in the English Football League Championship table last season. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zimbabwe Warriors forward Admiral Muskwe has joined English Championship side Luton Town from Leicester City on a permanent deal.
